Telecommute Job Description:
| Graphic Designer Position Overview We rank atop the communication and entertainment industries as one of the leading providers of some of todays most utilized digital products and services. We are currently seeking a Graphic Designer primarily responsible for the creation, maintenance and delivery of day-to-day web graphics. This is an internship position. Responsibilities On-time delivery of recurring graphic requests Creating and modifying images and banners Design of new layouts and re-design of existing web pages to meet client requirements Client satisfaction Site quality, including; Incorporating approved Editorial (English and French) into designs Adherence to branding, usability and web development guidelines Remaining fluent in current industry software and graphic trends. Provide creative, functional design solutions. Job Type: Internship Base Fee: None Location: Work from home/Telecommute Desired Time Commitment: 20 Hours Per Week Languages Needed: English Requirements Graphic design experience and knowledge of best practices in Web design. Strong background in design, layout. An eye for detail Ability to work autonomously with little direct supervision Ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines Ability to communicate creative concepts clearly Ability to multi-task Technical Requirements Extensive working knowledge of Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator Experience and knowledge of HTML, CSS Familiarity with Illustrator, GIF Animation, Homesite, Javascript, JSP, Flash Experience and comfort in designing and optimizing Flash and rich media interfaces (including video) Experience with a Web content management system Microsoft Office applications |
